The 2023 FIDI 39 Club Conference was a huge success, as always bringing together young professionals from all around the world to share experiences and knowledge. Fair to say, this one was for the books - from attendees snacking on scorpions and spiders, boxing in blazing hot weather, to an emotional presidential transfer as past president Jessica Deutschmann stepped down from the board.
Let us give you a summary of the 39C conference key events:
Day 1
The conference kicked off with a workshop: Speak like a Pro, where attendees learned valuable public speaking skills from keynote speaker Isabel Valle, Peak Performance Strategist and Leadership coach. Followed by an afternoon sporting event: Stress Relief Thai Boxing class, trained by a former Asia champion of Thai Boxing, where participants learned the basics of the sport and got a great workout in the process. Another highlight was the Itsy Bitsy Tour around the popular Chinatown where attendees got a chance to try a variety of street food and tropical fruits from different food stalls. The day wrapped up with a fantastic FIDI Party, hosted by the FIDI 39 Club at the famous nightclub, the Havana Social Club - where almost 200 conference attendees networked and socialized with one another over a couple drinks and good music.
